3. Savannah Robinson
The 18 years old girl was first discovered by Ryan Black as he was having lunch outside in Culver City. Since she was discovered, Savannah Robinson was booked for several venues such as Long Beach Pride festival.
Her performance on the main festival stage was posted on YouTube. This caught Ellen’s attention. Savannah made her debut on Ellen in February 2011. This was her first appearance on American nationwide TV.
She was also signed to Ellen’s record label immediately. The following month, Savannah came back to sing with her favorite singer, Jennifer Hudson. It was an unforgettable moment of “And I am Telling You I’m Not Going”.
Her debut on Ellen, plus the record deal, was a door way for Savannah to more gigs and events. One of them was promoting Anti-Bullying on Anderson Cooper’s talk show.
