5. Islamophobia Case
Another controversy hit Drake recently. Earlier this year, a video of him telling someone to remove her scarf went viral. And this video was claimed as his action in telling a Muslim fan to remove her hijab.
The video came from his show at O2 Arena, London. Between songs, he was talking to his fans. And he was heard speaking to his female fans who are not visible in the video.
He said, “You got on that hot ass scarf right there, you gonna have to take this off. You gotta turn this motherf**ker up. You don’t have to come out with that s**t.”
Judging from his childhood as he was bullied because of his religious background, it is hard to believe that this accusation was true. Drake himself denied it and said that he was talking to a fan who was wearing a jacket and a winter scarf.
