4. Music Lawsuits
Among all the feuds Drake had (or is currently having), some of them are about copyrights to his songs or materials within them.
Back in 2012, his ex-girlfriend, Ericka Lee, filed a lawsuit against him for using her voice in Marvins Room. His legal team said that she only asked to be mentioned in the album’s credit. Despite the case of he said she said, the two parties settled things off court.
The biggest case probably came from Meek Mill two years ago because the feud keeps going even until today. Even a big name, Eminem, was brought into this feud. It all started about two years ago when Mill accused Drake of using ghostwriters for his verse in Mill’s song, R.I.C.O.
Drake answered this accusation through his own songs, Charged Up and Back to Back. Then Mill responded with Wanna Know. In spite of these diss tracks, the feud has never been resolved.
Besides those cases, Drake had some other cases against Jimmy Smith, P. Diddy, and Rappin’ 4-Tay.
