Coming from a rough childhood, Drake did not give up. He battled through it all with his own way. And even when his parents could not support him financially, he was determined to dig their way out of that poverty hole.
He did get a lucky break through his Canadian TV gig, but that was not what he wanted to do in his life. So, did he just stick to that? No. He made his own break. And instead of relying on record labels to sign him and give him an album contract, he made his own way.
Not many singers did that. Not many of them had the determination and courage like he did in self-releasing an album. And that was the main key of his success.
Then, once he hit the top steps of his career ladder, he did not stop either. He constantly makes headlines. If it’s not with his music, it’s with other things going on in his life. Well, there is no such thing as bad publicity, isn’t it?
