6. Eminem x Carhartt x Air Jordan IV – $30,100
When a Detroit emcee, a Motor City workwear manufacturer, and a legendary sneaker entrepreneur teamed up, this kind of masterpiece was born. These pairs of sneakers were never sold at retail stores. It was limited and distributed through eBay.
There were several pairs auctioned. The lowest price went to a size 7 pair for $18,750. And the highest price went to a size 9 pair for $30,100.
This limited edition sneakers were released in 2015, on the fifteenth anniversary of the Marshall Mathers LP. The best part of the sneakers is the bolstered canvas upper which is Carhartt’s jackets hallmark.
The auction itself rounded up $227,552 in total. All the money went to the benefit of Michigan State’s Literacy Through Songwriting Program at the Detroit Community Music School.
