3. Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan I – $100,000
December 2, 1984 was a memorable day, not just for Michael Jordan and the whole Chicago Bulls’ fans, but also to a young ball boy named Khalid Alid. Ironically, he was LA Lakers’ ball boy. His team lost from Michael by just one single point that day.
In spite of his team’s loss, Khalid was happy. Because the legendary Michael Jordan gave him the shoes he was wearing during the winning game. Plus, he signed the shoes to remark the day he scored 20 important points.
Decades later, Khalid is even happier. How could he not be? He just sold the shoes for an outstanding $100,000 price through eBay auction. Good thing he kept them save in his closet instead of wearing them on his sweaty feet.
This particular Air Jordan I features white leather canvas with red colors on the Nike swoosh logo and upper heel. It is the color-way which Michael wore the most in his 1984-1985 season.
