9. Air Jordan I (1985) – $21,780

As mentioned earlier, the Air Jordan I was outlawed by NBA Commissioner for having not enough white color. However, it was not banned. It means, any basketball player was still allowed to wear them on court but he has to pay the fine.

Instead of stopping the production, Nike saw this as an opportunity to promote the Air Jordan instead. Michael went on to wear them in spite of having to pay $5,000 fine per game.

This particular Air Jordan I was worn by Michael Jordan during the NBA All-Star Game, in 1985. It was autographed by Michael himself. With such history and authenticity, it should come as no surprise that this pair is worth $21,780.

Michael might be $5,000 poorer that night, but he had a memorable match alongside other NBA legends such as Larry Bird, Moses Malone, and Julius Erving.
