8. Air Jordan I Black Metallic Gold – $25,000
Next up is another special edition from Air Jordan I. It is not just classic, but also very limited. Back in 1985, this special edition was released only to the Asian market exclusively. And there are only twelve pairs of them.
As soon as it was released, the Air Jordan I Black Metallic Gold became an immediate hit. Back then, it was priced for only a couple hundred dollar. But thanks to its rarity, it is now worth around $25,000.
The kids’ size version of this edition is available at retail stores globally. Each pair goes for $110. It has the same black and gold theme with additional white color on its mid-sole and gum rubber out-sole.
The metallic gold accent is the highlight of this edition. Upon its black leather upper feature, the metallic gold contrasts it beautifully.
