This iPhone 3G Kings Button appeared with a whopping $2,517,345 price tag when the world was hit by financial crisis in the early 2009. However, it still proudly wore the crown of the most expensive mobile phone ever made at that time, before other more expensive Apple products were launched.
iPhone 3G Kings Button was designed by an Austrian jeweler, Peter Aloisson. It is called Kings Button because the plastic standard home button is replaced with a rare, high quality 6.6-carat diamond.
This exquisite phone is made to dazzle your eyes. Aloisson used 18K yellow gold, white gold, and rose gold to form the casing. And there are more than a hundred diamonds used to decorate it.
There are two combinations of lining at the edge of the screen: yellow gold and white gold lining. A total of 138 brilliant-cut diamonds are encrusted on to the white gold lining, surrounding the screen and home button.
