The Aston Martin DB5 is regarded by many as the most beautiful car ever produced by the manufacturer. It has many similarities to DB4. The main difference lays under the bonnet of DB5.
The car was sold from 1963 to 1965. There were 1,059 of them manufactured. Back then, the retail price was $5,800.
This James Bond’s DB5 was auctioned in London back in 2010. With the fact that it was used in many James Bond movies, such as Goldfinger and Thunderball, it was expected to sell for at least $5 million. It came out $900,000 less.
In terms of power, the car is equipped by a 3,995 cc DOHC Straight engine. It can go up to 228 kph of speed. And it goes from standing to 100 kph in 7.1 seconds.
