3. Sir Stirling Moss’s Aston Martin DB3S (Price: $7.7 million – $9 million)
When it was first built in 1953, the Aston Martin DB3S was meant to be just a personal road car for the company’s owner, David Brown. The same model was used in several races, but it turned out to be unreliable. It crashes a few times.
So the team worked on to modify the car. Thus, it became the front line race car. Sir Stirling Moss won at Goodwood the first time he got behind the wheel of this race winner.
There were 31 units of them were made. 11 of them are works car and 20 of them were special made for customer. Each of them is powered by a 2,992 cc twin OHC engine. It can go up to 241 kph of speed.
One particular unit, driven by Sir Stirling Moss in some of his glorious races, is still being auctioned at Bonhams. The expected price is around $7.7 million to $9 million. If you want to get your hands on it, you still got time to win it at the auction.
