3. Antarctic Nail Ale ($3.63 per ml)
Here is another one from Australian brewer. This one is produced by Nail Brewing. While we have seen beers packed in taxidermied animals, this one was made for the animals.
Of course, it doesn’t mean it was literally given to animals. But the benefit from the sale went for animals’ cause through Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
Thirty 500-ml bottles of the Antarctic Nail Ale were produced. And all of them were auctioned off. The cheapest was sold at $800 and the highest went for $1,815. It makes it worth $3.63 per ml.
What makes this beer so expensive is the fact it was brewed with melted-ice of the Antarctic Iceberg. Those were collected by the Sea Shepherds themselves.
