Around 140 years. That is how old this Arctic Ale is. As you can tell, the beer is probably undrinkable at this point. So we assume the buyer who spent $5,131 for one 22-oz bottle of this beer is just a true beer collector.
As you can tell by the name, this beer does indeed have something to do with the Arctic. It was brewed especially for the 1875 Arctic expedition. Centuries later, it became a $7.89-per-ml worth of undrinkable beer.
