15 Most Expensive Beers In The World

7. Millennium Geuze 1998 ($1.23 per ml)

The 1998 Millennium Geuze is another beer from another Belgian brewer. In fact, it is the collaboration of two Belgian brewers: De Cam and Drie Fonteinen.

This too was sold at Boston’s Skinner auction house. One 750-ml bottle of this fine beer was sold at $923. It makes it worth $1.23 per ml.

This beer was bottled in the fall of 1998. Since then, it had been kept in in a local Belgian’s cellar until it was sold. It was one of the 8,000 bottles produced in the same year.

The name Millennium came from the idea of how people talked about this era back in the day this beer was produced. It gave people a chance to celebrate the upcoming era with beer instead of champagne.
