11. Bellagio, USA ($1.6 billion | $2.36 billion today)
Here is another one from Las Vegas, United States. Bellagio’s fountain is a hallmark you have probably seen in many movies. When the nozzles begin to break the water surface, prepare yourself for spectacular choreographed water performances.
The fountain itself cost around $40 million to build. Thus, it should come as no surprise that the construction cost of the whole resort was $1.6 billion in 1998 or $2.36 billion today.
The Bellagio resort has 36 floors and 151-meter height. Designed by DeRuyter Butler and Atlandia Design, it is currently owned by Bellagio Corporation under the ownership of MGM Resorts International.
This building is not just a luxurious resort with amazing fountains. It wouldn’t be Vegas without a touch of gambling. Inside the Bellagio, there are poker rooms, conservatory and botanical gardens, and also Bellagio gallery of fine art.
