Aaaand we are back on the Ferrari cars. This model was believed to be the most expensive car in the world because someone claimed they spend $52,000,000 in a private deal.
But since it was a private deal there is no way to know for certain if that sentence was true. We do know that this 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO was sold for $19,400,000 at an RM auction.
That 19 million dollars price is justified, because only 36 were ever produced all of which are still in existence.
However, they rarely come up in public auctions because most of them are owned by collectors.
Most of the deals these cars get are made private and the prices spent on them are rarely revealed to the public.
