This Ferrari model is the most special one from the manufacturers since it was named after the company’s founder himself. Besides, it also features sophisticated Formula 1 technology.
It was not just the first to use the race car technology, but also the first to apply non-regulated F1 technologies. It features active aerodynamics and traction control which are actuated by computer.
The F1 technology can be seen from its carbon-fiber exterior only. Plus, it is powered by the 6-liters Tipo F140 B V-12 engine with F1 style 6-speed semi-automatic electro-hydraulic shift transmission.
It was first produced in 2002. The main production stopped in 2004 but some special edition models were still produced until 2009. It total, there were 400 of them manufactured. Its retail price starts from $3 million.
