8. McLaren 650s ($441,000)
This McLaren car is also relatively new. It was first produced in 2014 and is still being produced until today by the McLaren Automotive. Some think its initial retail price ($441,000) is considerably pricey. But aren’t they all?
The McLaren 650s is powered by a 3.8-liters twin-turbo M838T V-8 engine with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Overall, it is not much different from its predecessor, the McLaren 12C.
The main difference is the carbon fiber chassis. This particular material is also used in Formula cars to produce lighter yet more rigid vehicle.
This model was modified to compete in GT3 series championship. It debuted in 2015 and still competing until today.
