1. Aaron Spelling’s gargantuan LA Manor – Price: $150 million
The wildly successful TV producer started building his 56,000 square foot home in 1988. It’s often referred to as ‘The Manor’ and actually has its own Wikipedia page, plus it tops this list of most expensive celebrity homes.
The construction is the largest home in LA and was at one time the most expensive real estate listing in the whole US. It covers 4.6 acres, cost $12 million to build from scratch, and designed in a French chateau style.
Spelling died at the home in 2006 aged 83, and the home was bought by one of Bernie Ecclestone’s daughters in 2011. Whoever owns it, it will always be known as Spelling’s Manor though.
