8. Norwegian Escape ($920 million)
Two years ago, the Norwegian Cruise Line spent around $1.4 billion for Meyer Werft to build two cruise ships, Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Escape. The estimated cost for Norwegian Escape alone is $920 million.
This cruise ship can take around 4,000 passengers. And the number of crews is almost a half of that. That is how serious they are about service.
With such capacity, it should come as no surprise that Norwegian Escape is the second largest vessel of the fleet. It is so big that it costs $219,000 per berth.
In terms of features, food lovers will be pampered with gastronomy as they spend time on board. One of the best restaurants they have is owned by a famous chef, Jose Garces. Enjoy some Latin seafood dishes!
