The Eliica, short for Electric Lithium-Ion battery Car , is an impressive eight-wheeled beast of a ride.
Designed by a team at Keio University in Japan, this fully electric lithium-ion vehicle may be short on subtlety, but it has a range of 200 miles and can hit speeds of up to 230mph.
This strange looking car will sprint to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds and will power on to 100mph in just 3 seconds more.
