The next expensive food is the world’s most expensive pizza, Pizza Royale 007. Inspired by the 007 agent, James Bond, this masterpiece was created by Domenico Crolla from Bella Napoli restaurant.
Being a Scottish-Italian, Crolla put his Scottish touch into this Italian dish. Pizza Royale 007 brings together Scottish smoked salmon, cognac-marinated lobster, venison medallions, the finest prosciutto, and top that with Dom Perignon champagne-soaked caviar.
Above everything else, the 12-inch pizza comes with a significant amount of edible 24K gold flakes as topping. Mama mia!
This pizza was sold through eBay for $4,200. And all of the benefit went to The Fred Hollows Foundation. The generous buyer is Maurizio Morelli, a lawyer with enthusiasm towards culinary.
