Remember the elaborate Vivienne Westwood wedding dress Carrie Bradshaw wore when Mr. Big left her at the altar?
Everyone secretly thought that she’s the only woman in the world who could pull that off, but that is not true. Apparently plenty of other ladies thought they could, too, because a version of it sold out in a matter of hours on net-a-porter.com.
In the film, Carrie was sent many choices, however, the dress designed by Vivienne Westwood obviously stood out amongst others and became her choice for her wedding.
A Westwood spokesperson told: “Our wedding dress always captures the essence of the collection to its most extreme and is the highlight piece.”
The original, floor-sweeping version can still be made-to-order at the Westwood boutique in London–provided you’ve got six months to wait and between $15.000 to $27.000 to spend, depending on your choice of custom fabric and color.
