9. Diamond Crypto ($1.3 million)
The Diamond Crypto mobile phone was built for those who take protection towards hackers seriously. Created by a Russian firm, JSC Ancort, this Windows CE-based smartphone is built with a powerful encryption technology to provide secure protection of information against kidnapping, technological blackmail, financial racketeers, and corrupted state officials.
Good enough to worth $1.3 million each?
For those who think it is not, the phone’s designer, Peter Aloisson, put in high quality materials into this phone. He used solid platinum 950 for all parts of this phone except for the Ancort logo and the navigation key. Both of them are made of 18K rose gold. But the navigation key has additional 28 round-cut diamonds weighing 1.5 carats.
The front side platinum keypad is hand-engraved and hand-colored. The single and double side buttons, and on/off button are made of natural blue diamonds. Each side of the phone carries 25 diamonds (5 of them are blue). The diamonds on this phone weigh a total of 25 carats.
So, is it good enough now?
