Sold at Gooding’s & Company auction in 2013, this 1969 Chevrolet Corvette L88 is a car every classic car lover will want.

What is special about this car is that the L88 engine was made special for it, meaning that the engine was only available in Corvettes from 1967 to 1969.

Maybe it’s because the car is incredibly rare and “hunted” by the collectors. Chevrolet only produced like 116 of these cars back in 1969.

This model was completely un-restored from its original condition plus its original bill of sale and statement of origin.

Which is why the car managed to sell for almost $1 million.
