N5. 1967 Shelby GT500e Super Snake — $1.3 Million
Here is another Shelby. Another American car, another beauty.
First they intended to produce 50 of these models, but then they changed the decision because of the high production cost it would not sell.
They went with an alternative; a special order option available on the GT500e. Not a single car was sold that time.
Before 1967, the car was only used as a race car. After 1967, Super Snake has become street legal.
The car was the first Super Snake with the same engine as the LeMans making it the first car to win in a Ford Mustang body.
Priced at $1.3 million, this was the most expensive Mustang ever sold.
*Note: Because a person went at a dealership and ordered one car, this is technically classified as a production car.
