The smart investor gained more than a half million dollar profit by winning the bid in 2008 and selling it seven years later. This time it was at Phillips auction house during its comeback celebration back in 2015.
This unique timepiece was sold at £912,200 (approximately $1.185 million). However, it was only the third most expensive sold at the auction house that day. It was surpassed by another brand, Patek Philippe.
