Estimated to sell at around $250,000, this 1950 Rolex Sleeping Beauty fetched four times its estimated value. A buyer bid $1.14 million for this beauty.
It was previously nicknamed the Padellone which literally means Big Frying Pan in Italian. It probably has something to do with its complicated features.
There were only 100 of them made. After all these years, there are even fewer of them known to exist.
