3. 1955 Topps Roberto Clemente PSA 10 – $432,690
The Puerto Rican professional baseball player has a card worth $432,690.
Just like the other baseball players on our list he has been a Major League Baseball right fielder who played 18 seasons for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1955 through 1972.
This guy is the first Latino player to win a World Series as a starter (1960), to receive a World Series MVP Award (1971), and one to receive a National League MVP Award (1966).
Clemente was a person like no other. He was involved in charity work in Puerto Rico and Latin American countries during the off seasons.
He was often delivering baseball equipment and food to those in need. That’s where he died. He was in an aviation accident on December 1972, while en route to deliver aid to earthquake victims.
Just like Hank Aaron’s rookie Topps card, Clemente’s card was also part of the Dimitri Young collection which was auctioned off in 2012.
