There were actually two cricket balls that were specially made as awards for two standout cricketers.
The one that won the Cricket World Cup tournament of 2007 has received the diamond studded cricket ball.
The diamond cricket balls were made by Gitanjali Gems Limited and each diamond ball has been adorned with 5,728 diamonds which made each one of them worth $68,500.
