N4.Tablet- $7,708,000
Now we take our list a bit further into present and talk about the most expensive tablet.
It’s about an iPad 2, which was designed by British luxury goods specialist Stuart Hughes.
The tablet weights about 2.5 kg, almost five times as much as a regular iPad 2. Only the main frame is made of 75-million-year-old stone originated from Canada called Ammolite.
The maker claims that Ammolite is the oldest rock in the world.
But the interesting part is yet to come! The tablet also has historical value! A 65-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus Rex thigh bone has been shaved into the stone.
The gadget is encrusted with 12.5-carat diamonds and 53 individual gems forming the Apple logo, which is set into the 24-carat gold back section.
Only two of the devices exist, but according to Sky News, one of them has already been bought by an anonymous buyer.
Pretty fancy, right? The price fits the extravaganza though! More than $7 million for a modern tablet!
