As mentioned in the other article, Wimbledon is one of the Top 10 Sport Events Cash Prize per Player. It provides a £1.88 million (approximately $2.66 million) cash prize for single player winner.
For other numbers, such as Men’s or Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles, the cash prize varies. For both Men’s and Women’s Doubles winner, the cash prize is £340,000.
Wimbledon also has two unique numbers, the Invitational Legends (with £100,000 cash prize) and the Wheelchair (with £22,000 cash prize).
After the tournament is done, all you have to do is waiting for the millions of dollars to come. If it was your first Grand Slam title, you may be one of those who keep checking their bank account to see if the money was in.
