9. Alexander McQueen creates a Kate Moss hologram – A/W 2006
A list of most extravagant fashion shows is not complete without the late Alexander McQueen.
Inside a glass pyramid in the centre of the space, a floating hologram of Kate Moss was projected, dressed in a ghostly white dress, the material billowing around her, closing the show. With the classical soundtrack, (a theme from Schindler’s List, for some reason) and the inevitable standing ovation, the whole spectacle was one of McQueen’s most memorable.
