Family Traditions at St. Regis Hotels
Family Traditions is St. Regis’s program for traveling families: child-sized robes and slippers, children’s menus, butler-arranged baby gear and, at many hotels, a Children’s Club and local family experiences. It runs across the brand, which has hotels from the United States to Mexico, Mauritius and Italy.
| Offer | What the brand lists |
|---|---|
| Welcome rituals | Child-sized robes, slippers and a step stool, plus destination-inspired treats and keepsakes |
| Dining | Children’s menus, special requests, and 24-hour in-room dining with an all-ages menu |
| Babysitting | Each hotel keeps a list of qualified local agencies |
| Baby gear | Butler service can arrange strollers, wipes, diapers, cribs and roll-away beds |
| Children’s Club | At many resorts, including Mexico City and Mauritius |
Which St. Regis hotels have family programs?
The brand’s family page lists The St. Regis Deer Valley, The St. Regis Mexico City, The St. Regis Mauritius Resort and The St. Regis Rome among the properties with family experiences or a Children’s Club. Specific activities change, so ask the hotel before you book.
In Mexico City, the Children’s Club sits on the 15th floor and, according to a press report, runs on weekends for ages five to eleven. The hotel has also offered a candy trolley and an in-suite tent experience for younger children. At Deer Valley, reported family options include a weekly poolside movie night and guided hikes from the lobby.
Earlier versions of this program mentioned bobsledding at the Deer Valley Olympic track, cooking dinner with the executive chef in Mexico City, surfing, dolphin swims in Mauritius and a private Sistine Chapel tour in Rome. We cannot confirm that those are still on offer, so we have removed them as promises. Ask the hotel what is available for your dates.
What happened to the SPG Kids Pass?
The Starwood Preferred Guest program that issued the SPG Kids Pass was folded into Marriott Bonvoy, so we have dropped it. For current kids’ offers, check the St. Regis website.
