5. Michael Schumacher – Audemars Piguet
Michael Schumacher is a legendary Formula 1 driver. He won the championship title for seven times. Throughout his career in total of 221 races, he had 68 pole positions. He finished 154 times on podium. And he stepped on the highest platform on the racing podium for 91 times.
He has been the ambassador for Audemars Piguet since 2010. He has a special model with his name, the Royal Oak Concept Laptimer Michael Schumacher. This model represents Schumacher’s spirit of determination and innovation.
There were only 221 pieces of Laptimer manufactured. It reflects the number of races which Schumacher ever competed on. Each of the numbered timepieces is sold at $229,500.
Terrifying news came to us on December 29th, 2013. Schumacher had a ski accident in the French Alps. He suffered from a severe head injury. He remained in a coma before he got better after two life-saving operations. There was never a photograph published of how Schumacher is doing today.
