5. ONE Campaign (Bono)
Bono is one of the most influential people when it comes to utilizing his fame into his charity work. The ONE campaign started 10 years ago in 2006.
This charity foundation focuses on many fundamental causes such as extreme poverty, AIDS and preventable diseases (through its RED.org), agricultural investment, and nutrition particularly in Africa.
As seen on ONE’s annual report of 2015, ONE has over 7 million people, including myself, on board in taking action for their causes. For AIDS causes, this foundation has raised over $350 million to help 70 million people battling the disease.
