9. Bespoke-designed tires.
We have mentioned how this car requires bespoke designed brakes just to keep up with its performance. And along with that, NextEV NIO also equips this electric car with special-made tires.
These bespoke tires are designed to survive tremendously huge stopping power, so NextEV NIO claims. They come in two options: 19″ and 21″. The 19″ tire is a 320/705 R19 performance slick tire. It comes with 13 x 19 inches size of bespoke wheel rims with carbon inlays.
Same type of rims used on the 21″ tire as well. But it is a 295/35 R21 show tire with bespoke cut pattern and its size is 10.5 x 21 inches.
The cut pattern is not the only distinctive thing about it. Its construction and compound are also designed for the best performance. These tires should be able to keep up with all the force NIO Ep9 has to deal with on fast corners. And we will talk about this specifically in the following pages.
