Your Baby Will Be Put to Sleep in No Time Thanks to Ford’s Max Motor Dreams Crib!
Ford’s Max Motor Dreams crib is here and we need to say goodbye to sleepless nights!
After being in the business of making luxurious cars for centuries, Ford has now designed a smart crib that tricks the baby into falling sleep. How?
It is quite simple actually. The crib simulated riding in car and aims to soothe babies to sleep by gently rocking and lighting up.
The brilliant cot has been developed to help new parents have good night sleep. It was especially created for those who often go to a night-time drive to soothe their baby until they fall asleep.
It might look like an ordinary crib but in fact, the Max Motor Dreams crib simulates the motion engine noise and even the street lighting.
Why? Because, as it turns out, babies like to sleep in moving cars, in fact they sleep better when are in moving cars.
The crib has a speaker that plays engine sounds, while its base rocks gently to mimic movement and the sides are lighten up with blinking LED lights designed to look like street lamps.
After spoke to the new parents, Ford teamed up with designer Alejandro Lopez Bravo, from the Spanish creative studio Espada y Santa Cruz, to create a one-of-a-kind crib.
“After many years of talking to mums and dads, we know that parents of newborns are often desperate for just one good night’s sleep,” said Bravo.
“But while a quick drive in the family car can work wonders in getting baby off to sleep, the poor old parents still have to be awake and alert at the wheel.”
Unfortunately, the Max Motor Dreams crib is not available for purchase because for now it is just a one-off pilot. But Ford says that is considering putting the cot into full-scale production.
We are excited to see how much a crib like this will be priced! Aren’t you? So, tell me, would you buy this amazing crib for you newborn baby? I would!
