Greenest Cities in the World | Top 10

2. Reykjavik

The capital of Iceland is one of the greenest cities in the world and has been the contender for the first place for many years. This particular city has the largest geothermal heating system,  all the houses from here being heated with geothermal water.

Reykjavik is the city that uses its natural resources to improve the energy system using volcanoes, waterfalls, geysers and hotsprings to produce energy and heat.

These means of energy are cheap, non-polluting and offer the perfect replacement for the consumers of fossil fuel.

Because they militate for the fresh air that they want to breathe, the people of Reykjavik use hydrogen, methane and electric cars. Because the price of gasoline is higher and Iceland is the promoter of hydrogen based cars, this makes the perfect opportunity for the townsmen to own an eco car.

We can say that number two of the greenest cities in the world will continue to offer and work for a green way of life even though they already have hydrogen based buses.

Number one is also from Europe->
