Guy Rents Entire Swimming Pool for his Pet Sea Lion Birthday At Five-Star Hotel
The guy rents entire swimming pool for his pet sea lion birthday at a five-star hotel reminds me of the dude who bought two Apple watches for his dog. Remember?
There are a few things people won’t do for their pets, moreover if the owners are rich. Just like in this case where the son of Wang Jianlin, a Chinese billionaire rented an entire swimming pool for his sea lion.
As we are all well aware by now, there is no shortage of hilariously rich people in China, known as a tuhao. The newest example comes in the form of one tuhao from Qingdao who decided to rent out the pool of a five-star hotel to celebrate the birthday of his pet sea lion.
Renting an entire swimming pool just for your pet isn’t something people usually do, so that’s why this guy got our attention.
Reports say that the man rented the pool for what is labeled as a birthday party and everyone assumed is the man’s birthday, but no.
More details about the celebration party are a bit blurry, but we know that there was more than free reign of the pool offered.
“The owner and his pet were given an all-access pass to the resort facilities and waiter service for those special fishy meals which were served by the poolside after being made by the chef.”
The owner clearly wanted to make this birthday party memorable, so he pulled out all the stops to make it happen.
Where the party was held?
The location he chose for the party is the popular Ocean Spring Hotel resort, located in coastal Qingdao City, in East China’s Shandong Province.
Luckily for the sea lion and its owner, the hotel wasn’t busy.
How much did he pay?
The hotel are not saying anything about what the owner, who is in his 30’s, paid for his two night stay but it says no expense was spared.
The sea lion was also treated to gourmet food courtesy of its own private chef.
As the day progressed, hotel guests took notice of the unconventional scene and were pretty excited with the creature doing his best Michael Phelps impression.
Although the fun lasted all day, the sea lion had too much of that fun and refused to get out of the pool when the party stopped.
Perhaps he needed a friend to play with. And why weren’t there any guests invited to the party?
How far would you go for your pet?
