And our highest paid female gamer is also the former world’s highest earning female gamer according to Guinness World Records, Katherine Gunn.
Kat competed in several tournaments of several video games, such as Dead or Alive 4 and Halo: Reach. The last one gave her the highest prize money she ever won: a staggering $100,000. It was back in 2010, at World Cyber Games (WCG) Ultimate Gamer Season 2 in California, United States.
With a total of $122,000 overall earning, she became the world’s best, only to lose from the current best, Sasha Hostyn. But to be fair, Sasha has competed in way more tournaments than Kat.
Even so, Kat has become the face of video gaming for female because as you can see, there are no other top female gamers who specialize in Halo as she does. Plus, she looks awesome in that suit.
