Pearl Diver
Topping all the high paid odd jobs is the pearl diver, professional diver who risks his life to dive after precious pearls on the ocean floor, this pretty much sums up his resume.
The job description, is practically easier, dive and search for pearls, but the work implies also some unique skills and risks.
Diving for pearls means that you have to meticulously search for them on the ocean floor of several coastlines in different cities where your main diving partners are exotic fish or sharks.
Finding pearls and being paid with $1,200 a day topped the list of the highest paid odd jobs, and also became our favorite among weird jobs.
Pearl diving has seasons when to dive, has bad weather conditions to avoid and the most important thing is to have harvested an oyster farm before wanting to collect the pearls.
So apart from big bucks, dangerous ecosystems and pretentious labor, the pearl diver is a pretty fine job where he can work collecting and training tourist at the same time, or harvesting and hunting exotic pearls as well.
And for those who are skeptic with these conditions image that they dive for 3 hours a day and are paid with $1,200 a day, it must be a demanding and delicate work.
What do you think about these odd jobs and the money they pay?
