2. Annie Leibovitz
Without doubt the most famous celebrity photographer in the world, Annie Leibovitz has captured everyone.
Particularly famous for her work with Vanity Fair, often featuring fantasy landscapes and modern celebrities posing as classic characters, Leibovitz is celebrated for her ability to capture anyone, no matter how rich and famous, in an interesting, unseen light. One of her most famous recent pieces was a portrait of the Queen with her various grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also instrumental in Caitlyn Jenner’s ‘coming out’ as a trans woman.
Some of Leibovitz’s most iconic works include photographing John Lennon on the day of his death, Kim and Kanye’s Vogue cover and a highly sexualised portrait of Miley Cyrus which caused great controversy.
