11. Nick Veasey
British photographer Nick Veasey works with X-ray imaging and digital prints. His first collection of images, X-ray: See Through The World Around You contained work over a 13-year period.
The Telegraph has referred to Veasey’s work as getting “to the core of our being”, stripping back layers and facades. His latest collection of works coincided with the release of Batman Vs. Superman, and featured an X-ray analysis of both characters and their alter-egos. He has also created playful work which X-rays famous pieces of art, including Duchamp’s urinal.
Veasey’s work has been exhibited in London, and across North America and Asia, adding to his reputation as one of the highest paid photographers in the world.
