Zhang Pan is the solo mid player for Newbee and he is best known for his high risk and his play style in the mid lane.
After leaving Pandarea, Mu joined TongFu in 2012 as their mid player and ranked 7/8th at his first The International 2012 after winning the 2012 Eastern Qualifiers.
TongFu became one of the best teams in China after The International 2012, most notably for wining Dota 2 Super League.
After LGD Gaming got disqualified for roster changes, the team was invited at The International 2013 were they placed 4th, the highest out of all Chinese teams.
In February 2014, together with Xiao8, Zhang ‘Mu’ Pan joined Newbee, a team that became the new Chinese dream team.
Together with Newbee, Mu went on to win The International 2014, taking down Vici Gaming.
