Some say it is too late for Zlatan Ibrahimovich to join Manchester United this season due to his age. But he proved them wrong by scoring some smashing goals on his debuts. He still got it, people!
Ibrahimovich was actually the third highest paid player when he was still with Paris Saint-Germain last season. The French club paid him $30 million annual salary.
As he moved to Manchester United, he got a lot less. Should we blame Brexit for that? The Red Devils is currently paying him $13 million only. But he still has $7 million more from his sponsors, such as Nike and Volvo.
Perhaps, playing for a legendary team is worth more than money to the ex-Swedish national team captain. Who knows, those endorsement deals may increase as he is now playing for one of the most popular soccer clubs in the world.
