This large salt desert is the world’s 25th largest desert and it is located in southeastern Iran.
Also, Lut Desert is one of the world’s driest places.
The highest temperature recorded here was 159.3 degrees Fahrenheit (the equivalent to 70.7 degrees Celsius).
The hottest part of this desert is Gandom Beryan; a large plateau covered in dark lava (480 square km).
