We have a tie. Another place with the same temperature. Ghadames or Ghadamis is an oasis town, located in the Nalut District, in northwestern Libya.
The highest temperature recorded here is 131 degrees Fahrenheit, the equivalent to 55 degrees Celsius.
How can you survive to such heat? The accommodations here are built out of lime, palm tree trunks and mud.
