Born on June 30, 1983, Cheryl Ann Cole is an English recording artist, dancer, songwriter and TV personality.
She gained prominence in late 2002, when she auditioned for the TV show ‘Popstarts: The Rivals’.
Cheryl Cole has a passion for tattoos. The former Girls Aloud member has a large tattoo covering her entire lower back and buttocks, and several other tattoos on her hand, neck and thigh.
She said : ‘It’s like body art and I think it’s reflective of someone’s personality. I don’t know what it is really. I think it’s very much one of those things where you either like tattoos and you’re attracted to that sort of body art or you’re not. But I just am!‘
On her right hand, Cheryl has a tribal tattoo in a traditional Polynesian Maori style. She got the ‘Mrs C’ tattoo on the back of her head, after she married the football player Ashley Cole, in 2006, changing her last name to Cole.
She also has a tattoo of barbed wire wrapping and vines around her thigh with a rose and a treble clef at the side. The treble clef represents her music career, while the roses are her favorite flowers.
And finally, she revealed a huge floral tattoo covering her entire lower back and buttocks. After almost 15 hours of work into it, this tattoo has a deeper meaning to Cheryl.
She tweeted : ‘I have personal meaning behind it but English roses are my favorite flowers. People are entitled to their own opinion. Personally I’ve never really concerned myself with other people’s body parts!‘
