9. Coca-Cola and the “OK” Soda
Have you heard about the “OK” soda? Perhaps not.
The Coca-Cola Company launched a drink called “OK”. They thought that giving the second most recognizable name in the world would make a big success.
Ok and Coke are still two of the most recognizable words in the world just like we said at the beginning, but “OK” the drink never stuck to the public.
The “OK” soda never caught on and was discontinued shortly after launch. Do you think they made a good decision when they decided to call off the project “OK”?
